Islam
is an all-embracing way of life. It extends over the entire spectrum
of life, showing us how to conduct all human activities in a sound
and wholesome manner. It does not allow a hierarchy of priests or
intermediaries between Allaah and human beings, no farfetched
abstractions and no complicated rites and rituals.
Everybody can readily understand the Quran and follow in the footsteps of the Prophet , to the best of his or her ability, assured by Allaah that He will accept the deeds that each soul has the ability to offer (what means):

no soul does Allaah place a burden greater than it can
bear." [Al-Quran

When we read the Quran or the Prophetic traditions, we find instructions regarding all aspects of life: political, social, economic, material, ethical, national and international. These instructions provide us with all the details needed to perform a certain act.

To
summarize, Islam governs a Muslim's life in all its aspects. This is
the reason why it is not only a religion but also a way of
life.
Islam does not recognize any kind of separation
between religion and life. It openly rejects the Western saying:
"Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and unto God what is
God's"; for everything should be dedicated to God alone and a
Muslim is required to submit himself completely to the Will of Allaah
in all his affairs (what means):
"Say:
‘Truly, my prayer, my sacrifice, my living and my dying are for
Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. No partner has He: this am I
commanded, and I am the first of those who submit to His Will.’"
[Al-Quran, 6/Al-An’aam ::162]
Islam does not believe in
wishful thinking. It clearly states that righteous conduct must be
followed by belief in Allaah. The Quran says (what means): "For
those who believe and work deeds of righteousness is a reward that
will never (fail)." [Al-Quran, 41/Fushshilat/Haa Miim As-Sajdah
: 8]

A
citation of Dr. Peter Hammond's book: Slavery,
Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat:
Islam
is not a religion, nor is it a cult. In its fullest form, it is a
complete, total, 100% system of life. Islam
has religious, legal, political, economic, social, and military
components. The religious component is a beard for all of the other
components.
Islamization
begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for
their religious privileges.
When
politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree
to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other
components tend to creep in as well.
Yess,
Islam does not allow any hierarchy such as protector besides Allah as
well as Balaji
Iyer mention as Chant gayatri mantra (google) and
mahamrityunjaya mantra (google ) 108 times (takes 20 mins ) for 7
days. It's syirk (association with Allah). It is in the Quran said by
Allah Subhaanahu
wa Ta'aalaa
Unquestionably, for
Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him
[say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to
Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them
concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide
he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever. (QS 3/Az-Zumar : 3)
"Indeed,
association [with Him] is great injustice." (QS. 31/Luqman : 13)
